Namaste Lotus Onesie

Honestly, the only yoga I've done has been on Nintendo's Wii, but I do enjoy it. In fact, I've managed to unlock all of the poses - but still can't master that last one. In fact, I can't even get myself into the position at all - believe me, I tried. If there was a hidden camera in my house, I'd be a Funniest Home Videos champion by now.

Items inspired by nature always catch my eye & I fell in love with this lotus flower. I looked up the meaning of the lotus & "namaste" & this is what I found:

"The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another."

What a beautiful sentiment! The design is crisp in white and dazzling in copper over this deep, double-dyed, bright pink. (I imagine it's like a mother having to pick her favorite child, but I'm totally partial to the copper!)

Orange Crush Cupcakes

I haven't played on Flickr in a very long time, but logged in tonight. It was a big surprise to get a message that a cupcake recipe I experimented with had been posted on the website Creative Cupcake Recipes!

And I just remembered how yummy that crunchy sugar bottom was...

Speaking of cupcakes, if you're in Jacksonville, count your lucky stars! There is a fabulous little kitchen called Red Velvet Armadillo Bakeshop that can make all your cupcake dreams come true!

New Design - Asian Dragon Onesie & Cap

It just might have been the delicious Chinese takeout that inspired this new design. And I love any reason to use the copper paint - still my favorite! The onesie was really fun to make since it was a new technique. The one pictured came out good, I posted it & it sold within 2 hours! I then made a second one & am even happier with how it came out!

At the heart of Chinese mythology, the Chinese dragon is the ultimate and the most abiding symbol of good fortune. Chinese dragons are regarded as divine mythical creatures that bring abundance, prosperity and good luck.

This super soft white Gerber onesie is hand painted with the mightiest of Chinese dragons, the Horned Dragon. Dragon is black with free-hand copper accents.

And matching hat!

However, I've not quite gotten the hang of it & don't tweet very often. And I'm considering a Facebook Fan Page; more to come on that.
